The most awaited 2012 flic “Ek tha Tiger” – give me a complete disappointment. Felt Deja voo at several points of entire movie.
» 1) In the very first scene, where hero jumps down the road through a glass window reminds me of those intro frames of the evergreen videogame Prince of Persia II- The Shadow and the flame[1].
I was literally mad after that game in early days (still I’m)
» 2) The Song Banjara Banjara Dil Mera Banjara – Those starting fiddle movement is a blatant lift from Toss the feathers [2]!
» 3) Hero-Heroine’s runaway from Istanbul with a speedboat gives me some glimpse of the starting sequence of James Bond’s The World Is Not Enough[3].
» 4) Hero-Heroine’s arrival to Havana – Cuba – The sequence and the background score during the scene can be easily related with James Bond’s arrival in Havana in the Die Another Day movie. The track has been named as “Welcome To Cuba” in the Movie Album [4].
» 5) Those fight scenes in the streets of Havana seems to be inspired from Tomorrow Never Dies’ Chinatown fight sequence (Pierce Brosnan with Michelle Yeoh)
Further, one can observe so many Jackie Chan fights and stunts throughout the movie !
